SunButter SPF 50 Sunscreen is non-nano particle zinc oxide that protects the skin from th harsh elements of the sun! It works by blocking both UVA and UVB rays and lends superior restorative and nurturing qualities for sensitive and/or weathered skin.

SunButter is both sunsmart and environmentally smart too, made from high quality certified sustainable ingredients. Formulated with coconut oil to aid in spread-ability and skin hydration, castor oil for its anti inflammatory properties, Vitamin E for its ability to improve skin elasticity and collagen production.

Packaged in a 100g tin, this rich non-aqueous solution lasts longer than the same volume of most other sunscreens, as well as locking in more of your skins natural moisture! When applied it rubs in clear, minus any parabens or synthetic fragrances. Suitable for babies.

Ingredients:
Active Ingredients: Zinc Oxide 230mg/g.
Inactive Ingredients: Medium Chain Triglycerides (from coconut oil), Candelilla Wax, Coco-Caprylate (from Coconut Oil), Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Polyglyceryl-3 Ricinoleate (vegetable based emulsifier), Isostearic Acid (plant based binder), Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E).

 

How to: Apply liberally onto clean, dry skin and rub in evenly twenty minutes prior to sun exposure. Re-apply every one to two hours and after swimming, exercise, excessive perspiration or towel drying. Store below 30°C.

This is fantastic suncream! It prevents the sun and just feels nice rubbed on.
The only downfall is I wish I had more in the tin as it goes fast with a family of five.

Great for pigmentation

I have some serious pigmentation, that worsens during Summer. After watching your vid on Physical vs Chemical sunscreen, I thought I’d give this a go. It’s been fantastic. I wear it under my make up. My pigmentation has not darkened, and of course I still wear a hat to assist. Also been great for my son who plays cricket!

The lid does not twist on and off well, also because the sunscreen is very liquidy the jar is not great at storing the sunscreen. Very easy to spill. Maybe if you used a different container shape.

SunnyButter is awesome

Hooray finally a non greasy one and that doesn’t react to my super sensitive eczema skin and I also believe it’s a non nano which made my decision to buy.
It’s a really beautiful texture.
I’d definitely buy again.

Great product, love no plastic but the tin is frustrating to use!

Great product, works well though I haven't tried it swimming as yet. I do find it a bit heavy for everyday use, but does a great job for hours in the sun. Only negative is the tin, great not using plastic, but very frustrating to use, I always have a struggle not to cross thread the lid and if it's not kept flat its very messy, so not something you can just throw in your beach bag and pull out when you get there.
